Parts 1 and 2 of the MBA are made up of 9 modules in total. The assessment for 7 consists of modular assignments, each including one learning log. The other two assessments are project based.
The assessmant for Part 3 of the MBA consists of a dissertation of between 12 - 15 thousand words.
Each of the modules on the MBA has one assessment, this being based upon the written assignment which is specified for that module. The assignment is submitted electronically for assessment by our team of tutors. Typically at MBA-Online-Degree.com, the student's personal tutor carries out the first marking and this is then sent to a moderator for ratification of the marks. The agreed mark is then sent to the examination board for ratification before it is released to the student. The examination board also deals with any disputes over marking, the student having an automatic right of appeal against marks awarded.
When the coursework is returned to the student, feedback is given on the coursework along with the reason for the mark awarded.
It is MBA-Online-Degree.com's policy to assess work at the three levels Pass, Credit and Distinction. Although the intermediate qualifications and the final MBA will not be graded in this way, the student's transcript of performance will record such awards as have been obtained in the completed modules.
Should any assignment fail to meet the required standard, the student will be informed and feedback given on the reason for it being assessed in this way. The student will then be free to resubmit the work for further assessment and, upon submitting a satidfactory piece of work, this will be given a Pass Grade. There is no additional charge for this re-assessment and, although there is currently no intention to discontinue it, MBA-Online-Degree.com must maintain the right to withdraw this at any time should the use of this facility become too heavy.
Once you have satifactorily completed your MBA, the final certificate will be delivered to you by courier or you may chose to attend the Swiss School of Management's Graduation Ceremony at the annual convocation which is held in Rome.
